Dionysus Leopard Print Sterling Silver Ear Cuff

£79

Named after Dionysus, the God of fun, wine and partying amongst a few other things! He is commonly depicted as wearing a leopard print skin as well as riding on them, and kept them as companions, how could you blame him due to their amazing beauty? Leopard print perfectly represents the attributes of Dionysus, fierce but fun and luxurious.

Ear cuffs add something special to any jewellery or fashion look. They sit comfortably on the cartilage of the ear to mimic multiple piercings and this design features a gorgeous leopard print pattern. A versatile piece that works perfectly for everyday wear.

Made from recycled 925 sterling silver, the perfect gift for the big cat, animal print or Kat Slater lover in your life!

Sterling silver, while stunning, is prone to minor scuffs and will tarnish so requires some care to maintain its beauty.

Refer to my How to Care for Your Jewellery guide for tips on keeping your piece in pristine condition.

The history of Leopard Print in fashion is said to date back to 1947 and credited to Christian Dior who used the print rather than animal fur. The popularity for the pattern continued throughout the decades and personally, it is a staple in my wardrobe although I am certainly no Kat Slater or Carole Baskin (yet!)! The symbolism around wearing leopard print has changed throughout the decades but generally it’s seen to represent independence, confidence and sexiness.

Regardless of the wearers intentions, it’s a gorgeous pattern and like any animal print, shows how the beauty of nature inspires us and the clothes and patterns we choose to wear. Ear cuffs are a great way to switch up a normal jewellery look, without getting a permanent piercing.

If you have ordered more than one piece, they may come in the same box to help prevent waste. If you would like seperate boxes then please leave a message in your order notes. I love including a handwritten thank you with all of my orders, but if you’re sending the piece directly to the lucky recipient then I’m more than happy to include a gift message for you, just include it in your order notes!
