The history of Leopard Print in fashion is said to date back to 1947 and credited to Christian Dior who used the print rather than animal fur. The popularity for the pattern continued throughout the decades and personally, it is a staple in my wardrobe! The symbolism around wearing leopard print has changed throughout the decades. But, generally it’s seen to represent independence, confidence and sexiness.
Regardless of the wearers intentions, it’s a gorgeous pattern. It shows us how the beauty of nature inspires us and the clothes and patterns we choose to wear, making this piece necklace a great gift for someone in your life who embodies all of those qualities, loves leopard print but prefers daintier jewellery styles!
