Theia Sterling Silver Moissanite Studs

These moissanite studs are created using scraps of silver and include a 2mm white moissanite gemstone.

Made from recycled 925 sterling silver. This piece includes a 925 tag on each post, if you would prefer a full UK hallmark then please get in touch. Butterfly/scroll backs are included.

Moissanite is a manmade stone, rising in popularity as a diamond simulant, natural moissanite does exist but it’s too small to use in jewellery. This design features a white moissanite, it does come in other colours so if you’re interested in personalising this piece then get in touch with me via the contact form. Moissanite has a hardness on the Mohs scale of just over 9 making it great for everyday wear (diamond is 10). This makes it a pretty sturdy stone for cleaning and polishing but do be careful of changing temperature too quickly as it can be sensitive to extreme heat and heat changes.

All gemstones are sourced from businesses that guarentee they have been sourced sustainably. The hardness of each gemstone will vary along with the care requirements, we’ve put together a handy guide which yo can find in the How to Care for Your Jewellery section, but please still ensure you research the gemstone you have bought to understand its love language!

All sterling silver pieces are finished with a thin, clear coat of Renaissance Wax which helps to protect it from tarnishing and oxidising to help keep your silver pieces tarnish-free for as long as possible!

The lead time for these earrings is 4 weeks to allow for them to be handecrafted, lovingly polished up and sent to you safely.

In some cases, I may have ready-made pieces for quicker delivery. Keep this in mind if you plan to gift this piece. I can arrange a lovely print out for you to present to your loved one if it won’t be there in time, just get in touch.

Sterling silver, whilst stunning, is prone to minor scuffs and will tarnish so requires some care to maintain its beauty.

Please note that the earrings will be in hygiene packaging, once the hygiene seal is broken the earrings cannot be returned. It will be at the gifter’s discretion if they remove this before gifting but will not change the terms of the refund policy.
